It seems to be a day for this sort of introspection. Just got through reading an article where Kid Rock concedes that “Kid Rock” might not have been the best name choice for a guy who’s in his forties now.
(Maybe it was better in a way that my friends and I didn’t “make it big” when we were kids and it mattered so much to us. We get to do our own thing creatively now, without having to deal with all the baggage of our younger selves.)
The Beasties address these themes really nicely in this amazing new video, however. It features cameos by pretty much everybody, and is very much worth half an hour of your time.
