Lil Flip "Kim Kardashian"

Houston artist Lil Flip’s new track about Kim Kardashian, for those who are keeping up :) Gawd what a terrible handclap snare sound though. I guess it’s supposed to sound like butt cheeks?

Anyway, two older but hotter Flip tracks worth checking out:

Game Over, which precedes the current passion for vintage videogame sounds by about six years or so with its heavy deployment of Pac Man bleeps;

This Is the Way We Ball from his first national release, a glimpse into the Houston lifestyle with a little “how I got signed” commentary on the side, a la Boston’s “Rock & Roll Band”
