It’s “twenty ten” I wasn’t born in “nineteen hundred eighty one” it was “nineteen eighty one” Stop trying to give me extra syllables.
The people I worry about are those who still insist on beginning any year since 2000 with “the year…”, as in “the year 2008”.
It’s a Zager & Evans thing.
AWK referred to it as “20X” on the Twitters....
